nVIDIA joins hands with Embassy Group and Ugly Indians for “Community Outreach Activity” at Hegde Nagar Government Schools
Bangalore, 26th May 2017- Embassy Group in collaboration with Nvidia and Ugly Indians initiated a ‘Community Outreach Activity’ to make significant transformation to two government schools at Hegde Nagar today. Around 300 employees from Nvidia joined hands with Embassy Group & Ugly Indians, aiming to provide the students a better school infrastructure moving forward. Techies-turned-volunteers involved in cleaning, painting, murals, making benches, repairing the fence, landscaping, etc.
Embassy Group has adopted these two government schools for a period of five years and they will oversee the deep cleaning, repairs and renovation of classrooms; building toilets; setting up a Computer Lab and an e-classroom. The project began on 11th May 2017 as a collaborative effort so that when the schools reopen, students and teachers of both the Government Higher Primary Kannada Medium and Government Higher Primary Urdu Medium Schools in Hegde Nagar are thoroughly surprised and pleased. The community project was set to not only repair and renovate the old buildings but also get the whole premises deep-cleaned and tidy with a complete transformation.
Embassy Group has been actively planning various community outreach programs where occupiers of office parks around Bangalore, get an opportunity to partner and support the economically weaker sections of the society especially under-served government schools and school children. These projects are a way of giving back to the communities where the company operates in.

Currently we are associated with more than 15 schools and nearly 4000 students and performing such an activity will have a great impact on the overall environment for the students.”
There are more than 175 corporate occupiers with Embassy Business Parks with around two lakhs employees. Through such community outreach activities, Embassy Group aims to leverage their relationship with the local schools and build connections between different parts of society and communities they operate in.
